BUS 4x4 Japan is a leading company which converts 4x4 on TOYOTA HIACE COMMUTERS. Our extensive experience with Second Stage COMMUTERS make them ideal for mining, schools, tour/coach operators & recreation.
"It has come to the attention of Bus 4x4 Pty Ltd that previous content on its website and/ or YouTube channel may have given the impression that its services and products had the approval of, or an affiliation with Toyota. For the avoidance of doubt, there is no such approval of, or affiliation with, Toyota".

We took a full van load of walkers who were late doing the 80th Anniversary Stinton Walk, against the advice of my guides down the notorious Duck Creek Road which was never been in such a bad way with huge holes, exposed rocks, deep ruts etc.
All I can say is that the Bus 4x4 conversion of the Toyota Commuter was fantastic. Even with a full load, the van did not bottom out even once and in a few tight parts had only 3 wheels on the dirt. Yet it tracked well and essentially was a well behaved 4WD.
Ben Southwell, the well known videographer who recently drove his 1986 Defender all over Asia was one of the passengers who was totally impressed!

Superb 4x4 Conversion
Since purchasing our Bus 4x4 conversion of Hiace Commuter we have had nothing but enjoyment out of it. As a family of 7, the Hiace is perfect for its size and its ability to be loaded to the hilt when going away.
Since owning it we have ventured to both Rainbow beach and Fraser island on numerous occasions and nothing has stopped it. This includes driving long distances in soft sand at high tide as well as passing through the Ngkala Rocks bypass at Fraser Island on the first attempt. Nearly all of our off-roading has been done in AWD. Low range has only been used as a pre-caution and the notoriously soft Ngkala bypass. Our next adventure is the Simpson desert very soon in the future!
